7. William Henry T was born on the 2nd of August 1866 and died on the 12th. of November 1953. He was the only son of Henry T.
W.H. married Amelia Higley(8) on the 2nd of December 1895 she died on the 27th. of April 1942. They had 5 children of whom Edgar (18) my Grandad was the second. They had 3 girls and two boys.
W.H. was a clerk in a coal merchants office and also the Parish Clerk for St. John's -in -Bedwardine, Worcester, a post that he held for over 50 years. On his death he was succeeded by his eldest daughter Marion T(9) who also held the post for many years.
He was a very small man with a wonderful moustache. Uncle Geoofrey?s( 22) most endearing memory is of him on every Saturday evening cutting slices of bread and cutting it into small cubes and compressing it in a press to make the Communion wafers for Sunday service.
He once bought Geoff(22) a piccolo woodwind instrument which he never learned to play and was lost after Grandma Evelyn T(19) died.
It is not known if he was known as William or Henry but Geoff T (22) suspects the latter
