iPad 3 To Get HD Camera, Slightly Thicker Design?

Jeremy Horwitz from iLounge provides some insight into what changes we can expect when Apple releases the iPad 3. Horwitz sources indicate the new iPad will feature a new HD camera on the front for Facetime HD, while the rear camera will be about the size of the camera from the iPhone 4/4S.

The body will be slightly thicker than the current iPad 2, this to accommodate new parts. Their sources are coraborating the earlier report from DigiTimes that Apple will keep the iPad 2 in the product line and drop the price to $399.

Finally, they believe the iPad 3 release will fall in the March/April timeframe.

This all sounds plausible along with a new high definition display.
